About Us

We chose the name Hand & Partners because successful coaching occurs as a partnership between coach, client and often their organization. No one operates alone. 


Additionally, we work with other coaches, consultants, and organizations for specific expertise and greater impact.

Meet the Founder Adelma Hand MBA, PCC

Background

Adelma Hand is a leadership development coach who has worked with high performing leaders in finance, law, tech and consumer for over 10 years.  


In addition, Adelma has held strategy, team leadership and management positions in a range of settings from Fortune 200 product development to middle market. She holds an MBA from Yale, a BA from Barnard College and a range of coaching certifications from ICF PCC to Hogan to EQ 360.

Coaching Approach

At Hand & Partners, we focus on areas that impact performance and wellbeing, including awareness of self and others, emotional intelligence, time management and fulfillment. We draw on neuroscience, behavior change and custom exercises.


Trust is the cornerstone of successful coaching because it enables honest exploration and lasting change. We  believe in focusing on what’s important to the client and carving out the space to build it. 


We ask that coaching clients bring awareness and a deep commitment to who they want to become.
